An agreement on mutual cooperation between the Grupa Azoty and the Maritime University of Szczecin was signed on 28 October 2021 in the MUS Hall of Tradition
The launch of a new course of study - Industrial Engineering and Offshore Wind Farms in the 2021/2022 academic year - was the result of a mutual cooperation agreement signed in September 2020 between Grupa Azoty Police, Grupa Azoty Polyolefins, Grupa Azoty Police Serwis and the Maritime University of Szczecin.
The new agreement specifies further joint activities, the preparation of more courses concerning industrial engineering, and the work which all parties agree to implement these measures in the near future in order to respond best to market needs.
- There is a generational change taking place at the Police plant, with around 100 employees retiring each year. In addition, the construction of Polimery Police is underway - it is one of the largest investments in the European chemical industry. That is why we consistently implement measures aimed at attracting professionals. I am glad that the Maritime University of Szczecin has responded positively to our needs and has adapted the programmes and courses to our expectations - stressed Mariusz Grab, Vice President of the Grupa Azoty Police Management Board

Representatives of the Police Group took part in the preparation of the programme of studies.- I am sure that the programme of studies has been prepared in such a way, that the graduates will be top class professionals - assures Artur Bejger, PhD Eng., MUS Professor and Vice-Rector for Science at the Maritime University of Szczecin.

Guaranteed jobs for graduates
