In the first round of ‘the first year Universiada’ played gentlemen who provided truly movie emotions. In the deciding match for the second place we played against the ZUT, losing two points in the last 10 seconds of the game, when; we get the ball and in the last 2 seconds, we throw a "3", the ball approaches the rim.
Looking at all the faces during the flight of the ball you could see people with their breath paused and mouth widely open, when suddenly the sound of a siren ... ... ... ... and, unfortunately, the ball bouncing over the rim did not get into the basket…
It was hard to accept but that is sport….and finally… the third place. Our brave ladies hit the U.S. in the lottery and unfortunately lost in the first match with the score of 14 points. In the second match PUM players did not have the slightest chance of victory, which gave us lots of joy, but news of the outcome of the US-ZUT made us regret,…since ZUT scored only 12 points Thus, we began to compare ... if we only started with ZUT-maybe second place would be ours and stuff ... but the cup formula was a knockout and a draw absolute. Third place is still a podium - congratulations and many thanks!
Traditionally, 19 - 20 November is W. Krason tournament, organized by the PUM. Our representations after great battles resulting in injuries, took the worst in sports, 4th place, that is, next to the boxes! Thank you for you great heart and representing our university worthily, for taking the time and proving that the sailors can not be so easily defeated.
