The Scientific Association of Transport Engineering and the Complex of Maritime Schools in Kolobrzeg have jointly organized the 3rd Seminar on "Development Prospects of Polish ports in the Baltic Sea Region", which took place on June 6, 2011 at the Complex of Maritime Schools in Kolobrzeg.
During the seminar two main blocks of topics were discussed. The first one, prepared by students from two classes of the School of Marine Logistics, dealt with environmental concerns in the ports of Kolobrzeg, Gdańsk and Gdynia. The second thematic block "Security Engineering of sea ports" was prepared by members of the Scientific Association of Transport Engineering, Maritime University of Szczecin. Seminar participants also learned about the simulator in the Centre of Maritime Navigation "in ZSM.
