January 14, 2014, at the Central Cemetery at the monuments ‘To those who have never returned from the sea’ and ‘To the memory of the casualties of the MF Jan Hevelius disaster’, solemn appeal was held to commemorate the twenty first anniversary of the sinking of the ferry.
Traditionally, the names of people who went missing during the disaster were read, laid wreaths and lit candles. The ceremony was attended by the color party of the Maritime University of Szczecin.
