Officially endorsed by the Rector of the University of Humanities and Technology in Radom, 18th International Scientific Conference entitled "TransComp2014 - Computer support systems for science, industry and transport" was held in Zakopane between 1st and 4th December 2014.
The conference was attended by over 400 researchers from Poland and abroad. The conference focused on the following areas: railway transport, road transport, sea and air-borne transport, logistics transport construction industry, electro-technology, mechanical engineering and teaching. There were plenary sessions and theme-focused sessions - live and poster presentations. Conference papers will be published in the Logistics journal.
The following academics from the Navigation Faculty of the Maritime University of Szczecin took active part in the conference: Prof. Zbigniew Pietrzykowski, Paweł Zalewski, PhD habilit. Eng, Dorota Łozowicka, PhD Eng, and Paweł Chorab, PhD Eng. Paper they presented were welcomed with much interest by other conference participants.
