12th Scientific and Technological Conference LogiTrans 2015 was held in Szczyrk between 20th – 23rd April 2015. The conference was attended by representatives of the Maritime University of Szczecin: Wojciech Ślączka PhD Eng, Master Mariner, Remigiusz Dzikowski MSc Eng Master Mariner, Anna Anczykowska MSc Eng, and Paulina Sobkowicz MSc Eng. The conference was focused on various aspects of transport and logistics and it enabled academics from the whole Poland to exchange experiences in those fields.
This year’s conference attracted 250 participants. The organisers provided the possibility to present one’s research results in the form of multimedia and poster presentations structured into 5 thematic sessions:
- Construction, operation and diagnostics of transport means
- Transport safety
- Logistics
- Transport systems efficiency
- Tourism and leisure
Individual sessions were held simultaneously in several conference rooms between 21st - 22nd April.
Two presentations on waterborne transport were given on 22nd April during a session moderated by Ryszard Wawruch PhD Eng, Master Mariner, Associate Professor at Gdynia Maritime University:
- „The use of AIS system in order to improve operational safety of fishing vessel”
by Anna Anczykowska MSc Eng, Paulina Sobkowicz MSc Eng, Wojciech Ślączka PhD Eng, Master Mariner, Associate Professor at Maritime University of Szczecin; - „Defining the operating parameters of inland waterway on the bend” Joanna Orymowska, Eng, Paulina Sobkowicz MSc Eng, Wojciech Ślączka PhD Eng, Master Mariner, Associate Professor at Maritime University of Szczecin.
