Pursuant to art. 23 of the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on higher education and science (consolidated text in Polish Journal of Laws of 2020, item 85, as amended) in order to ensure epidemic safety within the premises of the University and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic the following is being announced as regards organisation of full-time and part-time programmes, doctoral study programmes, programmes of Doctoral School and post-graduate non-diploma courses in the winter semester in academic year 2020/2021:
1. Classes for students of the first semester of full-time, part-time first-cycle (undergraduate) studies will be conducted in a mixed (hybrid) mode under special hygiene measures and in accordance with Health and Safety procedure (of 3 June 2020) on restrictions and safety regulations to be followed as measures against SARS-COV-2 spread during classes, teaching staff office hours, and diploma examinations. Lectures will be delivered online, classes (tutorials) and laboratory classes in face-to-face mode. The Dean in consultation with the Vice Rector for Education shall decide on how projects will be conducted;
2. Classes for other students and doctoral students will be delivered in a mixed (hybrid) mode:
- laboratory classes, simulator-based classes, certain projects and field exercises (requiring the use of research and teaching equipment) will be conducted in face-to-face mode under special hygiene measures.
- all lectures, tutorials, as well as some laboratory classes and projects will be conducted with the use of Microsoft Teams or Moodle platform, in accordance with MUS rules of delivering classes with the use of distance teaching methods and techniques (Order No. 21/2020 of MUS Rector of 09.04.2020, as amended). The decision on the form of conducting projects shall be made by the Dean in consultation with the Vice-Rector for Education
