MUS Yacht Club took part in the Clean Oder event

On Sunday, the 8th of May, members of the MUS Yacht Club got involved in cleaning the rubbish on the shores of Lake Dabie as part of the Clean Oder campaign.

Cleaning and leisure activities combined

Our students from the MUS Yacht Club (FB page) arranged a kayaking trip which started at the Szczecin Sailing Centre. During the event, the surroundings of several wild beaches on Lake Dąbie were cleaned up. The Dean of the MUS Faculty of Navigation (MUS Yacht club supervisor) and his wife were invited to take part in the event. During the kayaking trip, tens of kilograms of rubbish were collected.

The event was completed with a training demonstration of the Omega yacht capsize, a barbecue and the shanties singing.
