On organisation of classes in the winter semester of academic year 2020/2021 in relation to preventing the spread of COVID-19
Arrangement for the 2020/2021 academic year.
Due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic the Faculty of Navigation has had to make some changes to conduct the study programme in order to mitigate against risks to health.
As general, teaching and assessment are undertaken remotely, and gatherings for staff and students only permitted where essential for teaching and assessment to take place.
On-site didactic activity (face-to-face teaching at the university buildings) permitted where it cannot be undertaken remotely (exp. devices labs, simulators). So, during the winter semester, teaching and assessment on the course of Navigation delivered by an optimum combination of blend of in-person and online teaching. The balance of the blend will depend on the stringency of social distancing restrictions and other regulations in force at the time. See detailed information at the attached table.
The first year of study
Lectures – online
Classes & labs – at MUS buildings
The second and third year of study
Lectures & classes – online
but some labs & simulators – at MUS buildings
