The mechatronics engineering degree programme at the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering has been positively evaluated by the Accreditation Commission for Technical Universities.
As many as three courses at our University have now been awarded a certificate attesting to the high quality of their studies and enabling graduates to become European engineers.
A positive assessment is tantamount to receiving the EUR-ACE® Label (European Accredited Engineer).
The members of the Accreditation Commission for Universities of Technology (KAUT) highlighted the strengths of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering, including:
- very good teaching staff with many years of professional experience,
- well-equipped laboratories,
- good relations with commercial companies,
- interesting diploma theses of a practical nature.
During the meeting on 4 March 2022, after analysing the report of the Evaluation Team, the Commission decided to grant the mechatronics faculty at the first degree level accreditation for a maximum period of 5 years - until 4 March 2027.
This is a huge success, especially as the accreditation and certificate not only certify the highest quality of mechatronics studies at the AM, but will also provide value for as many as five years to every graduate of the course. Quality mark: EUR-ACE® LABEL is recognisable in all European countries because it is based on unified, common standards measuring the effectiveness of technical studies. Therefore, each mechatronics graduate will receive, in addition to a diploma from the University, a certificate of graduation from an accredited course of study. This will also be the basis for applying to the European Federation of National Scientific and Technical Associations (FEANI) for the title of European Engineer (Eur Ing).
The ENAEE/EUR-ACE® Label accreditation is financed by the MEiN within the framework of the non-competitive project entitled. "Foreign Accreditation" as part of the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020. The project is implemented at AMS by the Development Department. The aim of the project is for Polish HEIs to obtain foreign accreditations and certificates from professional commissions increasing the international competitiveness of HEIs. The EU funding for the project is 84.28%, with the remaining funds coming from the state budget.

The accreditation, awarded for the next five years, is proof of the highest quality of education.
