On 27th June, a debate on the problem matter of the safety of unprotected road traffic participants in the West Pomerania Province was held at our Faculty
The co-organisers of the event were the Chief of the Provincial Police in Szczecin, inspector Jacek Cegieła, and the Rector of the Maritime University of Szczecin, DSc. Eng., Master Mariner Wojciech Ślączka.
Exchange opportunity
The debate involved discussion on the safety status of the roads in our region with a special focus on incidents with the participation of pedestrians as well as the activities undertaken by various entities with a view to the improvement of their safety.
The meeting was a perfect opportunity to exchange experience and good practice as well as to have a discussion. The activities and multi-layer initiatives undertaken towards improvement of safety in the area of unprotected traffic participants will aim at reduction of road accident casualties on the roads of our Province. Professor Mariusz Jedliński and the Provincial Police in Szczecin deserve our great appreciation for organisation of the meeting.
