A two-day scientific and technical conference EXPLO-SHIP 2022 co-organised by the MUS Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications and the MUS Innovation Centre has ended on 12 May.
Patronage of the conference: Rector of Maritime University of Szczecin, Wojciech Ślączka, PhD. Eng., Master Mariner, MUS Professor and Polish Academy of Sciences Committee on Transport. The Dean of our Faculty has chaired the Science Committee. Grzegorz Witkowski, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Infrastructure, also addressed the official part.
Safety and new technologies
The conference was attended by 78 participants and 42 lectures were delivered. The speakers' presentations focused mainly on the problems of the safe operation of floating objects and port facilities and the application of modern information technologies in these fields. Conference participants also had the opportunity to visit the tunnel under the Świna River, which is in the final stage of construction. The conference was held on 11-12 May 2022 in Świnoujście.
