1. AGRIS
Bibliographic database on agricultural subjects in a broad sense. Created in 1974 under the supervision of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), is supported by almost 240 national centres.
2. AGRO
A bibliographic-abstract database containing bibliographic descriptions of articles from 1070 titles of Polish journals published in Polish and English. The database covers science, agriculture and related fields, including veterinary medicine, food economics, gastronomy, environmental protection, toxicology, bromatology, commodity science, agrotourism, and sports issues. The database contains volumes from 1992 onwards. Keywords are compiled in Polish and English. The database contains over 440,000 bibliographic descriptions.
3. ArXiv - (American Society of Civil Engineers Journals)
A thriving repository of open-access archive for 1,894,517 scholarly articles in the fields of mathematics, physics, computer science, quantitative biology, quantitative finance, statistics, electrical engineering, systems science. It operates at Cornell University and gives access to full texts and can be used from any computer connected to the Internet.
4. ASCE Journals - (American Society of Civil Engineers Journals)
The database contains tables of contents of journals and abstracts of articles published by the American Society of Civil Engineers in the fields of civil engineering, environmental engineering and architecture.
5. BazEkon
The full-text bibliographic database on economic and related sciences is maintained by the Main Library of the Cracow University of Economics. The database is also complemented by (in the order of starting the cooperation): The Main Library of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, The Library of Warsaw School of Economics, The Library of Poznań University of Economics and Business, The Library of University of Economics in Katowice, and faculty libraries of the University of Szczecin: Economic Library of the Faculty of Economics and Management, Library of the Faculty of Management and Economics of Services. The database contains bibliographic descriptions of publications from 400 titles of scientific and economic periodicals as well as scientific series published by universities, faculties of economics and management, and scientific institutions, also non-governmental ones, published in Polish and English. The database is partially full-text. Access to the full text of selected articles, according to agreements between publishers and/or authors, might be restricted both territoriality and time-limited. the database is being been updated since 1992. Access to the database has been free of charge since 2011.
6. BazTech
BazTech is a bibliographic and abstract database that has been registering articles from Polish journals in science and technology, selected topics in science and environmental protection. BazTech started in 1998 as a bibliographic database and today, it develops towards a full-text citation database. Since 2005 references have been added to bibliographic descriptions and based on agreements with publishers full texts are also included. In this way, the database has become part of the open science movement. The list of titles in the full-text version can be found on PON website or directly on BazTech website.
7. BazTol
BazTOL "Polskie zasoby sieciowe z zakresie nauk technicznych" (Polish online resources in engineering sciences) is a reference guide to Polish quality-controlled scientific resources available online related to engineering sciences. It is dedicated to scientists, academics, research staff, members of research teams, design and implementation teams, students and librarians.
8. Berkeley EECS
The EECS Technical Memorandum Series provides a dated archive of EECS research. It includes Ph.D. theses and master's reports as well as technical documents that complement traditional publication media such as journals. For example, technical reports may document work in progress, early versions of results that are eventually published in more traditional media, and supplemental information such as long proofs, software documentation, code listings, or elaborated examples.
9. Blackwell Synergy
Blackwell Synergy is the online journals service from Blackwell Publishing. It holds the full-text articles of over 850 journals, the majority of which are published by Blackwell on behalf of international scholarly and professional societies. The subjects covered range across Medicine, Science, Social Science and the Humanities. Journal tables of contents and article abstracts are available for all to browse. It can be used from any computer connected to the Internet.

The CERN Document Server (CDS) contains over 800,000 bibliographic records mainly in the fields of energy, atomic energy and physics, including over 350,000 full-text documents.

ChemSpider is a free chemical structure database providing fast access to over 100 million structures, properties, and associated information. By integrating and linking compounds from hundreds of high-quality data sources, ChemSpider enables researchers to discover the most comprehensive view of freely available chemical data from a single online search. It is owned by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
13. CiteSeer. IST Scientific Literature Digital Library
CiteSeerx is an evolving scientific literature digital library and search engine that has focused primarily on the literature in computer and information science. CiteSeerx aims to improve the dissemination of scientific literature and to provide improvements in functionality, usability, availability, cost, comprehensiveness, efficiency, and timeliness in the access of scientific and scholarly knowledge. Rather than creating just another digital library, CiteSeerx attempts to provide resources such as algorithms, data, metadata, services, techniques, and software that can be used to promote other digital libraries.

15. Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
The DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) was launched in 2003 with 300 open access journals. Today, this independent database contains over 15 000 peer-reviewed open access journals covering all areas of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, arts and humanities. Open access journals from all countries and in all languages are welcome to apply for inclusion. It is accessible from any computer connected to the internet.

EconPapers provides access to RePEc, the world's largest collection of on-line Economics working papers, journal articles and software. In 2021, a total of 3,584,723 searchable working papers, articles and software items with 3,226,610 items available on-line.

18. ERA - Edinburgh Research Archive
ERA is a digital repository of original research produced at The University of Edinburgh. The archive contains documents written by, or affiliated with, academic authors, or units, based at Edinburgh that have sufficient quality to be collected and preserved by the Library, but which are not controlled by commercial publishers. Holdings include full-text digital doctoral theses, masters dissertations, project reports, briefing papers and out-of-print materials. A repository based at the University of Southampton. It provides access to abstracts and full texts in areas such as - electronics - computer science. It can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection.

eScholarship serves as the institutional repository for the ten University of California campuses and affiliated research centres. eScholarship Repository content includes postprints (previously published articles), as well as working papers, electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs), student capstone projects, and seminar/conference proceedings .It can be accessed from any computer with an internet connection.

Open access abstract and tables of contents database of scientific and technical journals from 140 publishers in many disciplines from over 25,000 publications. The International Nuclear Information System (INIS) hosts one of the world's largest collections of published information on the peaceful uses of nuclear science and technology, offering global coverage of nuclear literature.
The INIS Repository contains bibliographic references and full-text documents of conventional and non-conventional literature, including scientific and technical reports, conference proceedings, patents and theses.

MarineTraffic is an open, community-based project providing real-time information on the movements and current location of ships in harbours and ports. The ship information database covers a wide range of information including details on where ships were built, their dimensions, gross tonnage and International Maritime Organization (IMO) number. MarineTraffic contains information on over 550000 active and decommissioned ships.
29. The European Mathematical Information Service
The largest open access electronic library in mathematics in Europe. EMlS contains full texts of the mathematical writings of R. Hamilton and G. Riemann and about 50 mathematical journals published from 1997 to date. It also offers conference proceedings and selected monographs and lecture outlines, as well as information on current events in the European mathematical community. Automatic updating takes place once a month. Access to the database server is free of charge and does not require authorisation.

32. National Information Processing Institute NIPI (pol.OPI)
NIPI facilitates quick access to updated and comprehensive information on Polish science. The Institute has collections which can be used to develop scientific and innovation policy of the country as well as to prepare analyses and statistics. The work carried out at the NIPI is related to the application of national standards in the field of scientific information to European Union standards.

Patenscope is a patent information database of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Using PATENTSCOPE you can search 96 million patent documents including 4.1 million published international patent applications (PCT).
34. Polish Scientific Journals Database (PSJD)
It is a bibliographic and abstract database of articles from Polish scientific journals published by universities, institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences and scientific societies (119 titles, including 97 full-text ones) from such fields as physics, chemistry, medicine, pharmacy, health sciences and sports.
PSJD (Polish Scientific Journals Database ) gathers articles of Polish scientific journals in the field of physical and chemical sciences and the area of medical sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, health and physical education. It is the complement of databases indexing scientific journals from other areas of subject within the Biblioteka Nauki conducted by ICM UW .

The TOXNET (Toxicology Data Network) database enables simultaneous browsing of over a dozen databases on chemical substances and drugs, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, poisoning and toxicology.
