10. Web of Science
The database is available on the MUS network or with remote accessWeb of Science keeps track of the content of scientific:
- journals,
- books,
- and conference proceedings.
It allows you to find literature on a particular topic or author, checking citations, i.e. who, where, when and how many times a certain author's work has been cited.
Since 2018, you can also use the InCites tool on the Web of Science platform.
InCites is designed to analyse data contained in the SCIE, SSCI, A&HCI, JCR and ESI databases and allows you to:
- compare the scientific achievements of researchers and institutions,
- analyse journal usage at institutions,
- develop research strategies and can support the publication and administrative decisions.
