Where are the halls of residence located?

The campus is located in the very centre of the city, just a 5-minute walk from the University’s main building at Waly Chrobrego. It is composed of two halls of residence named Korab and Pasat  - both are located in the vicinity of beautiful Zeromski Park, not far from Rodla Square - the city’s major public transport junction which makes any part of Szczecin easily available from this point. In close proximity to the campus, there is the University library, the swimming pool, the canteen, photocopying services as well as two big shopping centres, cinemas, theatres and restaurants. 

KORAB and PASAT are both eleven-storey buildings that provide accommodation for MUS students. Single, double or triple rooms with standard equipment (single or bunk beds, cupboards, wardrobes, tables) are available, with four rooms sharing one bathroom. There is a kitchen on each floor with an electric cooker and a wash basin. Free wi-fi Internet connection is available in each room.

Student can also use:

• study rooms
• washing rooms with automatic washing machines,
• ironing rooms,
• leisure rooms for table tennis, aerobics or dance,
• TV rooms with cable TV access,
• deposit room.

Non-student visitors to Szczecin can also stay in KORAB and PASAT in the hotel section composed of single, double or triple rooms with functional furniture, a TV set and a refrigerator. All students and visitors can feel safe and secure – the buildings are monitored and fitted with a fire alarm system.

Where can students get meals?

The student canteen, at Szczerbcowa 4 street, next to student halls of residence, serves inexpensive meals Monday to Friday. There is also a self-service cafeteria offering basic food articles and ready-made dishes in the main building of the University at Waly Chrobrego. Students spend there their breaks between lectures over a cup of tea or coffee or a sandwich. Apart from food serving facilities, the building in Szczerbcowa street accommodates also three spacious audio/video rooms - a typical lecture theatre with modern interior design; two rooms can be combined by opening the movable partition wall. Equipped with all necessary conference facilities, the rooms can be hired for meetings, conferences and other official gatherings.

Please note that both the nearest vicinity of the campus and the area of Waly Chrobrego is a payable parking zone. To park a car, you need to purchase and display a parking receipt (you can buy it in vending machines and it should be left on the dashboard for inspection) or you can purchase a monthly/yearly subscription.
